So many things, so little time.

These few weeks, I managed to accomplish quite a bit. Not career-wise, no, that’s still in the wreck, but I have been having fun outside office hours.

I…

  1. went to Cameron Highlands, KL, Malacca during a 4-day holiday, which ran through my birthday (19 Jun). 17 (night) – 22 Jun (evening), 4 days, 4 nights, 3 hotels, close to 20 hours of bus rides (if you know me well enough, you’ll know how I absolutely LOVE bus rides. I hate it when we reach the destination.), 470 Ringgit, 5 pairs of shoes, 2 tops, 1 skirt and a hell lot of traditional Chinese pastries later, I was home. With an evil grin on my face because I got to eat Satay Celup in Malacca; this evil concoction of satay sauce, that you use to cook your food with its boiling temperatures. Sinful. But so friggin good. All, together with 4 drinks to down that satay sauce, 22.50 ringgit. What the hell! That was only after downing a 1.40 ringgit (Not too sure about the price. Sugar paid for it.) bowl of CHENDOL to die for. Oh yeah. I had TGIF in KL Pavilion too. Once you’ve been there you’d think. What the crap is Ngee Ann City?!
  2. have decided to emigrate to Cameron Highlands so that I can eat my favourite vegetables fresh everyday. Even their spinach and watercress is SWEET. Spinach in Singapore taste bland. The stuff they have there, everything is sweet. Strawberries, vegetables, mandarin oranges. Everything. And the temperatures and vast pastures gives a some sort ethereal feel to the place. Really felt like some fantasy world where everything levitates. To eat steamboat al fresco and watch the sun set. Priceless at 45 ringgit.
  3. grew 2 shades darker, having walked an approximate 4 kilometres to eat Satay Celup in the hot sun. Even Sugar was impressed by my perseverance. I rock. I was surprised by Sugar’s willingness to take bus rides too. He loathes taking the bus here in Singapore. But he accompanied me, without complaint, all the way up to Cameron Highlands on bus.
  4. have decided to do something drastic pretty soon. Just you wait.
  5. have gotten disillusioned about my relationship with Sugar and gotten my brain fixed and our lurrvee back on track.
  6. have decided to switch on my air-con even though it is leaking. I have a pail under it now.
  7. gotten poorer having given my relatives a treat for my birthday.
  8. gotten even poorer since I bought my boy a bag.
  9. gotten even even poorer because I BOUGHT A DIGITAL CAMERA.

Canon IXUS 85 IS (Matte Black Lens Ring)

I’ll be uploading pictures very soon. I’m still too lazy to get the cable out of the box. Hic.

Sorry Sugar, if I have said wayward things that troubled you. Truth is, everything is in a mess now and you seem to be the only thing I have now that I can “change”, as in mold you into something I’d like you to be. Everything else is either stagnant, a stalemate, or a predicament. I’m suffocating under all this crazy situations. It’s like being punished to stand in the middle of the basketball court during high noon. It feels painful. But what can you do?

Take me to another place.
